In the last issue, I address what is really Unbelief as contained in the scriptures. In this issue, I will addressing the proofs of unbelief, just as faith has its proofs – the bible calls it "good reports", in the same vein, unbelief have its proofs (evidences). Lets us examine from scriptures the proofs of unbelief in one’s life.

Anxiety: Panic and Not being at Rest

Whenever you believe God, you will be at rest – the bible calls it “enter his rest”. Hear this until you step out of that case of yours by being relaxed, God never take over. The scriptures said “Stand ye still and see the salvation of the Lord” Until you are rest, God never step in.

In Heb 4:3, the Word said “for we which had believed do enter into rest” One of the proof of faith is rest. When you doubt God – you will not be at rest. I pray today that you shall enter into this rest in Jesus Name Amen.

Inaction

Faith without action is fake, if you believe God’s Word you will act on it, but when you doubt His Word, you will not act in line with the Word of God.

Hear this: In James 2:19, the Word said even the devils also believe and tremble. So the authentic proof of faith is action so when you don’t act, it means you don’t believe God’s Word.

Negative Confession

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. (Mar 11:23)

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;(2Co 4:13)

One of the vital medium of expressing our faith is words – what we say. When you believe God’s Word, your words will line up with the Word of God, but when you are in doubt, yours words will contradict the Word of God. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.

Contradicting Thinking

Your thinking path is your inner mouth, what you believe must straighten your thought pattern. You can claim to believe God but if you don’t think in line with what you believe – your faith wouldn’t deliver.

Do you know why many in the church today are still poor despite their giving because of negative thinking? They believe God for prosperity, they even confess it and act on it, but think poverty.

Concerning the woman with issue of blood, the Word said In Math 9: 21 “For she said WITHIN HERSELF, if I many touch…” God can do more that we think or ask.

Whatever you believe God for, think in line with it, speak faith and act faith.

Alternative & Backup Plan

I write by the Spirit of God “Until you make God your last bus-stop, your struggles continue”

Whenever you claim to believe anything in line with God’s Word and still has a backup plan then doubt is present. Can I say to you that God will never step in such situation because He will never share His Glory and Praise with anybody or anything.

Make God your final option – your last card, your only option not one of your options. Sometime ago, I was led by the Spirit to studied the lives of the Kings of Israel (the book of kings) and when I concluded the my study – I was praying over the insights that I have received of the Lord and the Lord said to me “Make Me Your Source and Your Security”

I have tested a little of God’s faithfulness and I can tell you He is more than faithful. Hear what the Word of the Lord said in Psa 34:5

They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. (Psa 34:5)

Some years ago (in 2008), when I was faced with some seemly huge challenge, I committed the issue to God in prayer and by faith. The Lord spoke in heart while coming down from the staircase of a company that I visited saying “My son, leave it to me, I am up to it” and true to His Word, He solved it. I want to encourage you that you take courage like the King Asa and drop every form of backup outside God and trust in Him.
